If you are thinking of coming to Tamarit, you should know that aside from the facilities at Tamarit Beach Resort, you will be able to find real treasures in the nearby area. Due to its fantastic location, in Tamarit you have the entire Costa Daurada at your doorstep. You can discover it by foot, by bike or even in a kayak. A small coastal town located at the mouth of the Gaià river, surrounded by a large landscape of pine forest, beaches and nature.
From our resort we try to help guests to integrate themselves in their surroundings. Our Cottage Patio Bungalows and our Pineda Junior Bungalows, let you enjoy green spaces full of vegetation. We can also recommend different activities for families and friends, so you can get in touch with nature, disconnect from your daily life and feel the calmness that only natural spots can offer.
During your stay at Tamarit you will be able to enjoy different areas perfect for any plans you may enjoy. On one hand you have all the beaches in the area: beautiful heavenly places where you can have a lovely time, enjoying the water from the Mediterranean and the warm Costa Daurada sun. The camping place recommends Tamarit Beach, the beach at “El bosque de la Marquesa” (located at the edge of a large forest), La Mora Beach or “Cala Jovera”, very close to Tamarit Beach Resort and with lovely views up to the Tamarit Castle.
For whoever wants something a little bit more adventurous, we have some recommendations.
Hiking route at the “Pont del Diable” (The Devil’s Bridge): About 15 minutes by car from Tamarit, you will find an old Roman aqueduct, located in the middle of a beautiful forest (“The romantic forest”, as it is called by some). The hike takes about 2 hours, and there is also a picnic area to relax at after your hike.
Ruta del Cister: For mountain biking enthusiasts, you will find an excellent opportunity for a fantastic route. La Ruta del Cister is a route that brings you to the three most emblematic monasterios in Catalunya: Santes Creus, Poblet and Vallbona de les Monges. Starting at Tamarit Beach Resort you have a 35 minute car ride. The route is well cared for and can be completed in one day by experienced mountain bikers; as it stretches out along 100 kms.
To sum it all up, Tamarit Beach Resort is located in an excellent place to enjoy the natural environment. Between the Mediterranean Sea and all the nature that surrounds it, you can enjoy a fantastic vacation while being a part of the natural landscape of the province of Tarragona.
