ACSI takes in more than 10,000 campsites from all over Europe and analyses them to create a benchmark guide for the sector.
Tamarit Beach Resort has been recognised this week as the best located resort in Spain 2022 by one of the leading agents in the camping sector, the Dutch company Auto Camper Service International. ACSI has more than 50,000 members and has agreements with more than 3,500 campsites.
The resort has been listed in the ACSI guide for decades. More than 300 inspectors inspect European campsites, assessing aspects such as sanitary facilities, entertainment, sports facilities, swimming pool, suitability for children, catering, type of pitches, quality/price ratio, location of the campsite, regulations, staff and environment, among many other points. This year 2022, for the first time, they have decided to give awards to the best campsites in Europe, divided into 8 categories.
For Xavier Melero, director of Tamarit Beach Resort, "ACSI's recognition is a reflection of the camping world of the dedication and effort we are putting into offering a high quality service to camping enthusiasts". Tamarit also wants to highlight the value of its campers: "We never forget where we come from," says Melero, "and, in fact, campers are a particularly important group at Tamarit," he adds.

The new features for 2022 include improvements in some aspects related to camping, such as the incorporation of premium pitches with private bathrooms, barbecue and fridge and the improvement of the facilities on most of the pitches available.
