A good workspace can translate into a good environment for customers and users. When working people are comfortable, they dominate their workplaces and a better atmosphere is achieved between colleagues, and this is noticeable; that the human team feels more at ease with itself, leads to a better treatment of customers. This is why training and creating a positive work environment is so important.
Tamarit Beach Resort promotes this vision and, for this reason, for some time, training has been given both to people working at the Resort and to interested outsiders, with the aim of improving their work skills in the instead of fostering the relationship between them.
Once again, Tamarit, with the collaboration of VAM Formation, offer training so that people who are currently unemployed can acquire new knowledge and have a better chance of rejoining the labor market. For this reason, a training program for the year 2023, fully subsidized, has been drawn up for working people and unemployed people, through the Consortium of Continuing Education of Catalonia. Three training modules will take place: kitchen training module, with a total of 85 hours; room/bar training module, with a total of 60 hours; and, training module for cleaning staff, with a total of 30 hours.
This type of course has been designed, specifically, taking into account the casuistics of the sector and it is estimated that they will be, for the most part, more practical than theoretical (which will allow a greater approach to the real professional practices of the market).
These training modules include part of each Family's Certificates of Professionalism competency units (Hospitality and Tourism), which is why each student will be able, if they opt for Accreditation in the future, to validate some subjects thanks to these certificates.
The trainings will be held at the facilities of Tamarit Beach Resort. Registrations are open from January, for people in a situation of unemployment, with a limit of places of 20-25 attendees in total per module.
Once these trainings have been completed, the students will be able to enter the selection process with the possibility of filling the vacancies available at the Resort at that time, with good working conditions and a fixed discontinuous contract.
